Integrate the many different types of “off-the-ball screens” in the offense so that your team can to either completely eliminate or at least move the “helpside” defense, or to have personnel cutting towards the ball either on the perimeter or the interior. These “off-the-ball screens” could be in the form of “Big-on-Small,” “Small-on-Big,” “Small-on-Small” or “Big-on-Big” types of “off-the-ball screens.” Another form of an “off-the-ball screen” is called a “Ram Screen” that makes the up-coming Ball-Screen even tougher to predict when it will develop and therefore more difficult to defend. Screens set by a different sized player on a different sized teammate helps discourage defensive switching or can quickly put defensive players in drastic mismatches that can and should be capitalized on.
